Since I was born, I have been a child of Green Lake. I grew up jumping into my fathers arm off the boat, and have never missed a Green Lake Fourth of July fireworks show. I lived by the golf course, and sold golf balls and lemonade to the kind golfers passing by. I learned how to sail on the lake with my brother and best friends, and got my boater’s license the minute I could.
As I got older, I started to learn more about the lake I so dearly love. I did research projects on watersheds in school, and volunteered my time for preservation projects. I learned the history of the lake when there were no houses, and much it has changed over the years. I met the people behind the organizations around me, and fell in love with their missions.
Because loving the lake is more than loving an evening boat ride or warm sunny day on the dock. It is loving the community of people around the water that make the lake what it is. As I graduated high school and discovered my passion for entrepreneurship, I knew I wanted to create a way to represent Green Lake in a visual and easy accessible, but also meaningful way. By telling the stories of the world around me, I can share what I see with others who will hopefully appreciate what I create as much as I do.

From spearheading lake preservation projects, to conducting research and engaging community involvement, the GLA has already been making a positive impact on our lake for almost 75 years.
